Known Issues with existing releases

HotSpot Version 3.0

  • Importing a mixture file that is NOT located in the HotSpot30/UserMix directory may be error prone. Though these situations have been improved over earlier versions it is still recommended that all mixture files be stored in the HotSpot30/UserMix directory.

Older versions

  • Importing a mixture file that is NOT located in the HotSpot20/UserMix directory may be error prone. One known bug with such mixture files occurs when "Table Output" is clicked with the "Append QC Data" option in which case the table will not be displayed. (Versions: 2.07.2, 2.07.01, and 2.7.0 resolved in 3.0.0)
  • Changing between FGR11 and FGR13 DCF libraries can cause erroneous results if scenario nuclides are not re-selected. HotSpot form will show new library as being used when in fact it has not in such cases. To prevent erroneous results, re-select nuclide and lung clearance category, after changing dose conversion factor library. (Versions: 2.07.2, 2.07.01, and 2.7.0 resolved in 3.0.0)
  • Minor issues reported with use on Windows Vista and Windows 7 operating systems and with display of Help information (Versions: 2.07.01, and 2.07.0 resolved in 2.07.2)
