IMAAC

IMAAC provides a single point for the coordination and dissemination of Federal dispersion modeling and hazard prediction products that represent the Federal position during an incident requiring federal coordination (National Response Framework). IMAAC also responds to major releases when state or local response assets are overwhelmed.

Effective October 1, 2012, the IMAAC will run technical operations out of the Defense Threat Reduction Agency (DTRA).   To activate the IMAAC, please call the new number at (703) 767-2003.

Beginning October 1, 2012 IMAAC products will be available on the Homeland Security Information Network (HSIN) IMAAC page at https://government.hsin.gov/sites/FedOperations/IMAAC/default.aspx . If you require an HSIN account, please contact the HSIN Helpdesk at 1-866-430-0162 (available 24/7) or send an email to HSIN.Helpdesk@dhs.gov requesting a HSIN account with access to the IMAAC page.

NARAC Services

The DOE/NNSA's National Atmospheric Release Advisory Center (NARAC) will continue to support the IMAAC for nuclear/radiological events, using NARAC Web and CMweb in addition to HSIN for product distribution.
